It was a fundraiser for Independent Health’s Kids Foundation and it was a roaring hit! I was asked to put a group together to be the live entertainment for the VIP crowd, performing jazzy post-modern jukebox style music. I asked some of Buffalo’s most talented musicians to be a part of it and was lucky enough to snag Sara Rogers on guitar, vocals and trumpet, Zach Carr on piano and vocals, Nelson Rivera on percussion and myself on lead vocals! Since we put so much time into preparing for this, our hope is to get booked for a few spin off gigs; so if you know of anyone looking for some pop-jazz music as entertainment, have them email me through my website!!

I LOVE doing events like this! Not only do I get to meet an entirely new crowd, but I get to share with them two of my passions, dance and singing. This event is unique in that it allows me to sing while I perform on the trapeze. I always like to push myself and see what combinations of performing arts I can fuse together. I’m so grateful to be able to share my singing/flying act at the ICP Ball!
