Buffalo based entertainer Cortney Chyme can be found performing with various ensembles throughout Western New York. A versatile singer, dancer, and actor, Cortney blends the contemporary with the classical bringing her unique style to every performance. 

As the female lead for Midnight Recovery, and soon for the new band Shaken Not Stirred, she uses her dynamic vocal range to power modern hits, as well as classic favorites. As a standing board member of Dance Days of Buffalo, Cortney helps create dance, and performance opportunities, while still performing with dance groups such as Devi Bollywood Dance, Buffalo Aerial Dance, and others. Cortney is an actor performing with local filming groups for short independent films, music videos, and participates annually in the Buffalo 48-Hour Film Project.

When Cortney isn’t performing, she is lending her immeasurable skills, and experience as a dance teacher at Adell’s School of Dance, and as a performance coach for the award winning Matt’s Music Vocal Performance Competition team. Seasonally, Cortney sings for special events, religious services, and for wedding ceremonies throughout the region. Working with A Dream is a Wish, she portrays children’s favorite Princesses bringing smiles to all! She is also the adviser, and director for the Williamsville East High School Band Against Bullying performance team, which  won three consecutive first place titles in the first three seasons under her direction. 

You can often catch Cortney performing locally with other talented musicians, acts, and bands, including duets with Zach Carr, Sara Rogers, Alex McArthur, Modern Jazz with the Bees Knees, and as the female vocal lead for the Uptown Sound, featuring Steve Balesteri.
