The Bee’s Knees made quite a splash this past weekend at The Buffalo Goes Gatsby event held at The Hotel at the Lafayette! It was a fundraiser for Independent Health’s Kids Foundation and it was a roaring hit! I was asked to put a group together to be the live entertainment for the VIP crowd, performing jazzy post-modern jukebox style music. I asked some of Buffalo’s most talented musicians to be a part of it and was lucky enough to snag Sara Rogers on guitar, vocals and trumpet, Zach Carr on piano and vocals, Nelson Rivera on percussion and myself on lead vocals! Since we put so much time into preparing for this, our hope is to get booked for a few spin off gigs; so if you know of anyone looking for some pop-jazz music as entertainment, have them email me through my website!!
